I spent years working locally in Pakistan, feeling completely stuck by geographical barriers. When I decided to transition to a global remote job, the system rejected me relentlessly. Eventually, I got so good at navigating the global market that I was offered a mobile engineering role at Facebook London. I actually turned it down because I preferred the freedom of remote work right here from Pakistan.
