This role is a blend of traditional DevOps practices with modern Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, emphasizing automation, reliability, and security. You’ll work with leading-edge technology to maintain and enhance our cloud infrastructure, supporting our goal of high performance and reliability for our clients.\n\nPosition Type: Full-time\nSalary Range: $105,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience\nBenefits:\nHealth Insurance\nRetirement Plan\nPaid Time Off (Vacation and other PTO)\n\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nServe as the first responder for system and infrastructure issues\nCollaborate daily with development teams to support various software development lifecycles\nCommunicate directly with clients to provide support and guidance\nAssist with security testing and compliance\nParticipate in pair programming, knowledge sharing, and mentorship\nProvide SRE support for internal systems and client contracts\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCore Requirements\n     Technical Skills\n\nOperating Systems: Proficiency with Linux command line, shell environments (bash, zsh, fish), system administration (permissions, RBAC, systems)\nContainerization: At least 1 year of experience with Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration systems\nCI/CD: Experience with modern CI/CD platforms (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Argo, or similar)\nVersion Control: Advanced Git operations (merging, conflict resolution, cherry-picking)\nCloud Platforms: Working knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure\nNetworking: DNS configuration, CIDR notation, firewall management, network diagnostics (curl, nmap)\n\nSoft Skills\n\n\n\nStrong work ethic for remote collaboration\nClear written and verbal communication skills\nProblem-solving mindset with openness to emerging technologies\nAbility to mentor and collaborate effectively with team members\nPreferred Experience\n\nKubernetes administration (manifest creation, operations)\n\nArgo CD, GitLab CI/CD, and runners\n\nProgramming experience (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java)\n\nWindows system administration and database operations\n\n\n\nOur Technology Stack\n\nInfrastructure & Automation: Kubernetes, GitLab, Argo CD, Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, primarily on GCP\n\nDevelopment & Operations: Git, Python, Bash, PowerShell\n\nSecurity: SAST, DAST, and penetration testing tools\n\nLegal Requirements\nWork Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States; Provision IAM does not sponsor work visas.\nLanguage Proficiency: Must be highly proficient in written and spoken English.\nEmployment Eligibility Verification: All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.\n\nProvision IAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
