Job Description

Responsibilities:

Team Management and Development

  • Lead and mentor a team of multimedia designers, cultivating a collaborative, creative, and inclusive environment.
  • Assign tasks based on team strengths, provide regular feedback through one-on-one sessions, and support ongoing professional development.
  • Oversee workflows from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to creative standards.
  • Manage team operations including SOP development, leave approvals, and participation in recruitment and onboarding.
  • Serve as the key point of contact between the design team and other departments, ensuring cross-functional alignment.

Creative Strategy and Content Development

  • Provide creative direction for multimedia campaigns that align with brand goals and client objectives.
  • Lead ideation sessions and workshops to drive innovative thinking and visual storytelling.
  • Analyze client briefs, market trends, and audience insights to translate strategic goals into creative solutions.
  • Manage brand design execution for high-profile clients, ensuring visual consistency across all digital and offline channels.
  • Guide research on brand identity, industry trends, and competitors to develop data-informed creative strategies.
Creative Direction 
  • Direct the design, illustration, editing, and animation of multimedia content that reflects brand tone and quality.
  • Approve and review all creative output, maintaining consistency and excellence across assets and campaigns.
  • Foster open communication with stakeholders to align creative output with project goals.
  • Ensure multimedia assets meet optimal file specifications and follow best practices in format and compression.
Software Proficiency
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Canva, and other design tools.
  • Leverage the latest design technologies and tools to create engaging multimedia content.
  • Ensure the team remains up-to-date on software innovations and uses current tools to optimize project execution.

Pitches and Presentations

  • Lead creative pitches and present strategic design solutions to clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop presentation materials and articulate the rationale behind design decisions.
  • Address complex client expectations with visually impactful, business-aligned creative concepts.

Industry Knowledge

  • Stay informed on developments in advertising, marketing, digital media, and design trends.
  • Participate in workshops, trainings, and cross-team knowledge sharing to improve creative operations and workflows.
  • Encourage continuous learning and contribute to a culture of creative and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Multimedia Design, with at least 5 years in a creative or design role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across different formats (static, motion, branding, digital assets, etc.)
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and familiar with Canva or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a creative team, manage workflows, and oversee end-to-end project delivery.
  • Strong creative vision with experience in brand development, campaign ideation, and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in pitching ideas and presenting to clients.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and capable of handling multiple projects.
  • Up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices
