Work Environment: Remote (U.S. based candidates only)
Job Description:
Under general direction, the developer will design, develop, and maintain data processing applications to meet business needs. Responsibilities include coding, testing, and implementing programs in both development and maintenance modes. The role involves defining system requirements, developing specifications, resolving production issues, monitoring performance, and preparing system documentation.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of development experience
- Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
- Required Technical Skills:
- C
- Linux
- SQL
- Oracle.
- Helpful Additional Experience:
- Scripting tools (K-Shell, C-Shell)
- Linux utilities
- Oracle tools
- TFS, Visual Studio, GitHub
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience with requirements analysis, coding, testing, implementation
- Familiarity with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology
