Tempo is looking for a highly creative and technically skilled Video Editor to take a leading role in our fast-growing early-stage startup. At Tempo, we believe software will be built 10x faster when teams leverage the perfect combination of AI agents and collaborative tools. As we scale, storytelling and content have become key to sharing that vision — and that’s where you come in.\nThis is an opportunity to join Tempo early and help shape the visual identity of our brand through high-impact video content. You’ll work directly with our founders, designers, and marketing team to create videos that capture the energy, ambition, and personality of the company — from product demos and social clips to launch videos and brand stories.Your Responsibilities* Own the end-to-end video creation process — from storyboarding and editing to delivery\n* Create short-form content (social media, launch clips, testimonials, and product explainers) using Descript and CapCut\n* Collaborate with our marketing and product teams to translate ideas into visually compelling narratives\n* Edit and refine footage for clarity, pacing, and emotional impact\n* Ensure brand consistency and elevate the quality of all visual storytelling\n* Work in a fast-paced environment where creative experimentation is encouraged\n* Have a blast helping build a movement around the future of AI and software creation!\n\nLooking for Someone Who:* Has 3+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally in a startup or creative agency\n* Is fluent in Descript and CapCut (bonus if you also use Premiere Pro or After Effects)\n* Understands how to make content perform across platforms (TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)\n* Has a strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling in visual media\n* Is creative, resourceful, and obsessed with details that make videos feel premium\n* Is self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable taking a project from concept to completion\n* Thrives in an environment where speed, creativity, and quality all matter\n* Fluent in english – speaking and writing \n\nBonus Points If You:* Have experience in motion graphics or visual effects\n* Have a background in copywriting or creative direction\n* Have worked at a fast-moving startup or content-first tech company\n* Have an eye for brand design or product marketing\n* Love exploring how AI tools can speed up and enhance the creative process\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
