Job Description:
Softrams is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing solutions on the Salesforce platform and will collaborate with business analysts, architects, and team members to drive innovation.
Federal Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
- Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.
- Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Salesforce and 5 years in the IT industry overall.
- 1-3 years of experience customizing Salesforce on the Lightning platform, including components and Apex.
- 1-3 years of experience with declarative development on Salesforce using workflows, approval processes, and flows.
- Previous experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Some experience with Salesforce integrations (both point-to-point and middleware).
- Experience with Copado for deployments preferred; knowledge of GIT and CI/CD is a must.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
Required Certifications:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (preferred)
- Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with a team of developers and adhere to Salesforce best practices.
- Estimate scope and effort for development projects.
- Ensure development projects meet business objectives and user requirements, addressing any system issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including product owners and testers, to plan and execute project sprints.
- Conduct code reviews.

Public Trust Clearance:
This role requires the candidate to go through public trust clearance. A minimum of 3 years living in the U.S. within the last 5 years is required for eligibility.
Work Location:
Softrams offers open-collaboration offices in Leesburg, VA, and Baltimore, MD, but maintains a 100% remote-first team environment. Standard work hours are 9 am ET to 5 pm ET, with flexibility based on team needs.
