JOB TITLE: Production Graphic Designer
DEPARTMENT: Graphic Designing
REPORTS TO: Project Manager
PURPOSE:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Production Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This full-time position (40 hours per week) will involve working closely with cross-functional teams across various time zones to deliver high-quality visual components for instructional and training materials. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience from an ad agency or large design studio and will have a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in creating pixel-perfect designs across multiple channels, including print and digital platforms. You will be responsible for taking creative concepts through the production process, ensuring assets adhere to brand standards, and delivering error-free, high-quality work on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take creative concepts through the mechanical production process for print, digital, experiential, and other platforms.
- Develop pixel-perfect designs, modify assets, create new versions, and build production templates and guideline documents.
- Retouch and edit images for color accuracy and manipulation for layering purposes.
- Ensure all design assets adhere to brand standards, style guides, and are error-free.
- Translate rough sketches, layouts, and ideas from meetings into high-quality final designs.
- Follow direction from the creative lead and actively seek feedback when necessary.
- Collaborate across different time zones with teams in creative, project management, events, photography, and content.
- Deliver assigned work on time, meeting all project deadlines.
- Introduce new design trends, ideas, and approaches to enhance the team’s work.
- Act as a self-starter, solving problems proactively if issues or questions arise.
- Provide regular updates to internal team members and stakeholders regarding project status.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3+ years working in an ad agency or large design studio.
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Must provide a portfolio showcasing mechanical design work and assets across multiple channels (print, digital, etc.).
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring error-free work and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Experience working in offshore-onshore environments and across time zones.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects efficiently.
