About the role
Pavilion’s team is full of entrepreneurial people with a bias toward action, strong intellectual curiosity, and a desire to serve and solve for our members.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the user experience across Pavilion’s digital platforms. You will help own the design process, from conducting user research and usability testing to creating wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and contributing to the development of our design system.
You’ll report directly to the Creative and Digital Experience Director and work collaboratively with the Marketing, Operations, and Community teams to build a cohesive user journey across Pavilion’s website, Member Hub and mobile application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive member research to understand member needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Plan and execute user testing to validate design hypotheses and improve product usability.
- Design intuitive, member-centric prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Collaborate closely with product cross-functional stakeholders to translate business goals into seamless member experiences.
- Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback, data, and evolving member needs.
- Contribute to and help build out Pavilion’s design system to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital touchpoints.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform design decisions.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user research, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-driven design, with experience using tools like usertesting.com or Optimal Workshop.
- Solid understanding of design principles, and user-centered design processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user experience challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
