You will work closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to create beautiful products and services that families love while accelerating business growth. \n\n\nThe Head of Product will continue to grow Huckleberry’s successful core product and expand into exciting new use cases to help more parents, in more ways. There is so much opportunity to solve real-world problems in ways families never thought possible.\n\n\nThis role requires a blend of a strategic thinker, a creative craftsperson, and a results-driven executor. The Head of Product reports to the CEO and will manage the product management team, with some individual contributor responsibilities.\n\n\nThis role is remote with a strong preference for California-based candidates for ease of in-person meet-ups with C-level leadership.\n\n\n\nAreas of Responsibility\n* Product Strategy\n* Define and articulate product strategies that combine deep user insights, business objectives, and a vision for what’s next in family-focused technology.\n* Keep a pulse on user needs, wants, and the market\n* Run effective prioritization while weighing impact, effort, and tradeoffs\n\n\n\n* Execution & Delivery\n* Create and be obsessed with the user experience–translate user motivation and needs into products that are woven into their everyday lives (in collaboration with Product Design)\n* Own product plans, resources, and timelines that are accountable to the business from soup to nuts\n* Establish success metrics that connect user impact with business outcomes, ensuring the product strategy consistently delivers value to both.\n\n\n\n* Leadership & Collaboration\n* Mentor and develop a high-performing team of product managers\n* Foster a culture of curiosity and learning\n\n\n\nRequirements\n* Product experience within consumer apps or similar tech products \n* Proven ability to lead product at a growth stage company, growing existing core products while expanding into additional products in a 0 to 1 stage\n* Skilled at all core product management functions, with a superpower in crafting new product experiences that are rooted in a deep understanding of user motivation and needs\n* Track record of building and executing product roadmaps and strategies at every stage of the product lifecycle\n* Strong data acumen with the ability to understand the story within the data\n* Leadership and team management experience\n* Ability to see the big picture while also caring about the details\n* Thrive on collaboration and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to work through problems alongside the team\n* Strong passion for our mission of helping families flourish\n* Clear communication \n* Deep user insight & intuition\n\n\n\n\n\n$205,000 – $255,000 a yearBenefits include: – Equity- Unlimited PTO – Health – Vision- Dental- Paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregiver- 401k match \n\nHuckleberry Labs is an equal-opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
