Let’s talk.\n\n\nWe are looking for an engaged and passionateSenior Software Engineer to join our growing Communication Platform department and be part of the Number Management team. \n\n\nYou will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and operation of business-critical features that add customer value.\n\n\nBest practices, evangelization, and mentoring in your team and across the whole of Engineering will be part of your day to day job.\n\n\nQuality, excellence, and agility drive our delivery processes and you will help us level these up. \n\n\nUsing Typescript and Ruby back-end stacks, appropriate for each requirement, but always hosted on AWS, we build added value and resilient services on top of voice and Al capabilities, and fully integrated with our customers’ business critical tools.\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n* Participate in requirements analysis to help with providing the right technical and business solutions for our customers\n* Have key responsibilities within the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of key modules\n* Write clean scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems\n* Review, update, refactor, and debug code\n* Be part of an engineering organization delivering high quality, secure, voice solutions to Aircall clients\n* Involvement in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring\n* Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure continuous system reliability\n* Mentor team members\n\n\n\n\nTeam Environment:\n* Join a small, collaborative team with a mindset that values autonomy and proactivity while ensuring you are never alone.\n* The team is spread between France, Spain, India and Portugal, promoting a diverse and inclusive work culture.\n* Sharing and collaboration are key within the team, encouraging open communication and teamwork to achieve the best outcomes.\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n* You have at least 5+ years of experience in backend development with preferably a typed language (Typescript/Node.js, Java, C#) with a focus on delivering for scalability, availability, security and performance\n* You have at least 2+ years of experience working on frontend applications, preferably with React, but experience with Angular is also valued.\n* You have experience with serverless architectures, microservices or distributed systems.\n* You have worked extensively with AWS in a production environment and understand how to design for, deploy on and get the best out of, the environment and services provided by Amazon\n* You can talk easily and spontaneously about most of the offerings on AWS, when to use them, and how, and can explain to junior engineers\n* Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAircall is constantly moving forward.
