About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Batuta Security Solution Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. This role is essential in designing, developing, and testing security solutions that ensure high standards of protection, scalability, and efficiency. The engineer will work on automation, integration, and policy creation to enhance security capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy scripts for automated responses to security alerts, incidents, and security controls using Powershell & Bash.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) implementations for integrating new security technologies, including EDRs, vulnerability scanning tools, and patch management solutions.
- Design, test, and implement security policies for applications or software that may pose risks, as detected by the software inventory module.
- Implement and add new products or platforms such as EDR, XDR, Vulnerability Scanner.
- Perform comparative PoC evaluations of security modules against other industry solutions.
- Build and maintain testing infrastructure to validate security developments and policies, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Provide Level 3 support escalation for complex product-related technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Security Operations, and Threat Intelligence to enhance security capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, DevSecOps methodologies, and security automation standards.
- Keep up with industry trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of security strategies and tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in security engineering, security product development, or a similar field.
- Experience with Operative System Linux and Windows.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, incident response, and security operations.
- Hands-on experience with EDR solutions, vulnerability management tools, and security policy enforcement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
