Kajabi is looking for a Sr. Art Director to join our in-house brand team. The brand team is responsible for elevating Kajabi into an iconic brand that creators and entrepreneurs love and trust.
We are looking for a strong conceptual Art Director to create multi-platform marketing campaigns and activations across our portfolio of products. You will report to and work alongside our Creative Director and Lead Copywriter to develop and support the team in creating big idea-driven campaigns. This role requires great conceptual thinking, strong design skills, great attention to detail, flawless execution, bold innovation, passion, and optimism.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in leading and creating work for the world’s most recognized brands and has a solid understanding of advertising, brand building, strategy and storytelling. - Conceptual Development: Collaborate with creative directors, copywriters, editors and motion designers to develop and produce original, compelling concepts that align with Kajabi’s objectives and target audiences.
- Visual Storytelling: Craft visual narratives that enhance Kajabi’s brand messaging across various media, including digital and social campaigns, as well as traditional advertising formats through brand and product storytelling.
- Strong Design Skills: Demonstrate exceptional design abilities, with a keen eye for layout, color, typography, and visual balance, ensuring all creative work is visually engaging and high-quality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, PR, Product, Community, Web, Events, and production teams and key stakeholders, clearly communicating creative ideas, rationale, and design decisions.
- Ability to Lead and Manage Projects Effectively: Oversee and guide projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines are met and resources are efficiently managed proactively.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with design, advertising, and cultural trends—releative to our target audience to bring fresh perspectives to Kajabi’s campaigns and creative strategies.
- Creative Problem Solving: Address and troubleshoot creative challenges, making adjustments to visuals and concepts as needed to meet Kajabi’s evolving needs.
- Brand Stewardship: Ensure all creative work aligns with Kajabi’s brand identity, tone, and visual style, maintaining consistency across all touchpoints.
- Presentation Skills: Present and articulate creative ideas internally and externally, demonstrating a strong rationale and storytelling ability to engage and inspire Kajabi’s team and stakeholders.
- Time Management and Prioritization: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative work with deadlines and Kajabi’s expectations in a fast-paced environment.
- Innovation and Ideation: Continuously push the boundaries of creative expression, experimenting with new approaches, mediums, and technologies to keep Kajabi’s campaigns fresh and engaging.
- Strategic Thinking: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define Kajabi’s audience insights, market trends, and brand positioning, ensuring concepts are strategically sound and impactful.
- Quality Control: Oversee final production quality, ensuring all design work is polished and error-free before final delivery or release.
- A portfolio showcasing original, impactful ideas and innovative cross-channel campaigns, with strong design skills and attention to detail across various media.
- 6-8 years of experience as a conceptual art director within an agency, with in-house experience as a plus, including 360 campaign work and at least 3 years of team and project leadership.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work efficiently and proactively in a remote setting, with strong communication skills.
- Excellent design skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and a willingness to experiment for the best creative outcome.
- Understanding of how creativity supports business goals while meeting brand standards and aesthetics.
- Commitment to hard work and collaboration, even under tight deadlines or on multiple assignments.
- Clear and effective communication skills—written, verbal, and visual.
- Optimism to think big and curiosity to explore in depth.
- Flexibility to work collaboratively one day and independently the next.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new ideas, processes, and business challenges with enthusiasm.
- Experience working in the creator economy or with creators and entrepreneurs.
- Experience working on tech brands, especially software.

We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we’re not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration or attend company events 1-2 times a quarter.
Pay Range
$123,000—$164,000 + equity + bonus
