Who are you?
As Dispel’s Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for determining the path forward for the next generation of Dispel.

Are you a talented Engineer looking to join a growing team? Dispel is seeking a Cloud Architect Engineer to join our team of roughly 25 engineers.
The ideal candidate should possess experience in designing and implementing mature cloud deployments. You will have the opportunity to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions. Location
We are a 100% fully remote company (U.S. only). You are welcome to use our office in Brooklyn, New York City.

Requirements

- 7+ years of experience in cloud automation, with demonstrated success in writing automation to deploy a complete SaaS product on AWS and Azure.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional cloud architecture certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
- Responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure that supports the deployment and scaling of SaaS applications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate cloud services into the software development lifecycle.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in cloud-related technologies and architecture decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Communication and team culture are very important at Dispel. You’ll be joining a collaborative team where new ideas and contributions are encouraged. We expect everyone in the engineering team to be honest, competent, and easy to work with. These criteria are soft, but just relax and be genuine.
- Deep familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework and the Azure equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of major cloud service providers and their offerings.
- Compliance/Security automation with FedRAMP (NIST 800-53), STIG, OSCAP, and/or CIS experience.
- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools for CI/CD.
- Proficiency in cloud security, networking, and data management.
- A willingness to accept failure and feedback, learn and try again.
- A passion for learning new disciplines and gaining a deep understanding of how others on the team do their work.
- An ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both in person and over team chat.

The U.S. pay range for this position is between $129,000 and $170,000/year, with an expected Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) between $11,500 and $15,500/year (including bonus or commission). Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
