About the role

CapIntel is looking for a Senior Front-end Developer to help shape our platform’s architecture, scalability, and performance. You’ll play a crucial role in defining best practices, and collaborating with designers and product managers to build seamless, high-performing, and accessible user experiences. Your expertise in frontend development, performance optimization, and modern frameworks will drive the growth and usability of our platform. While this is primarily a frontend role, familiarity with backend technologies is expected, and you may occasionally contribute to backend development within the MERN stack. What you’ll do
  • Own the front-end development lifecycle – from planning and design to implementation and deployment.
  • Architect scalable and maintainable solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript, especially React
  • Optimize performance and ensure efficient state management.
  • Integrate seamlessly with backend services, working closely with backend engineers to deliver performant applications.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold best practices.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to build user-centric solutions that align with business goals.
  • Continuously refine development workflows, staying up to date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends.
  • Ensure accessibility (WCAG compliance) and contribute to UI consistency across the platform.
Qualifications
  • Several years of professional experience as a senior full-stack or frontend developer.
  • Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Vue,js, etc.).
  • Experience working with the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, ReactJS, Node.js) 
  • Strong grasp of scalable frontend architecture and performance best practices
  • Proven ability to mentor other developers and lead technical initiatives.
  • Experience in writing comprehensive unit tests, to ensure reliability and maintainability.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus experience
  • Familiarity with T3 Tech Stack (Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS).
  • Working knowledge of AWS services, CI/CD workflows and Git best practices.
  • Experience with design systems and leading UI consistency initiatives.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and preventing performance and optimization issues.
  • A passion for continuously learning, improving workflows, and implementing modern frontend methodologies.
