At Praktika.ai we are on a mission to deliver efficient and engaging learning experiences for billions of students worldwide by bridging the gap between learning apps and human tutors.

We have done this by creating a fully automated language tutorship experience powered by generative AI Avatars.

After raising $30 million in Series-A funding, we are growing and looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer (Android) to join us! We are a global small team of 50 innovators who are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in language learning and tutoring.

In this fast-paced environment we like independent self-starters who can work well in a team as well as unassisted and who enjoy the working environment of an early-stage startup.

Role Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Motion Designer (UA Focus) to join our Growth Creative Team. This role is ideal for a designer with a strong background in motion graphics and user acquisition ads, with a keen eye for visual storytelling and high-performing ad formats. You’ll be creating dynamic, scroll-stopping content across UGC, animated video, and static formats for language learners around the world.


This position can be full-time or part-time, and you’ll work closely with our creative leads, copywriters, and product marketers to deliver weekly ad concept volumes that fuel our growth engine.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce 15 ad concepts per week across different creative types:

  • UGC-style edits
  • Animated short-form (0–15 sec)
  • Animated long-form (15–45 sec)
  • Static image concepts + reformatting
  • Deliver all ad formats in multiple aspect ratios:
  • Videos: 4:5, 9:16, 16:9 (optional)
  • Statics: 1:1, 9:16
  • Incorporate localized text and visual cues when needed.
  • Follow provided creative briefs while contributing your own concepts and iterations.
  • Translate performance data and internal feedback into actionable creative improvements.
  • Work within tight timelines while maintaining a high bar for quality.
  • Apply deep understanding of the language learning and edtech audience to develop effective visuals.
  • Keep a pulse on top-performing ads across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube Shorts and bring fresh inspiration to each weekly cycle.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in ads production (UA creative or growth marketing).Proficient in motion design tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.) and static design tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator).Strong portfolio showcasing video ads, UGC edits, animated explainers, and static ads.
  • Deep understanding of social media ad trends and hooks — especially for language apps or consumer mobile apps.Comfortable working with iterative feedback and rapid testing cycles.
  • Clear communication and time management in remote, async-friendly teams.

Nice to have: 

  • Previous experience working with edtech or language learning products.
  • Experience creating voice-over driven motion ads or incorporating avatars/text animation.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing ad variants and performance-based creative optimization.
  • Basic editing or scripting knowledge for AI avatars or voice AI tools.
