POSITION OVERVIEW
Our Web Developer is responsible for web application development.
Roles:
- Primary role is web software development, maintenance, and deployment.
- Assist IT with web application server maintenance.
Major Responsibilities or Assigned Duties:
- Design, implement, test, document, and maintain software applications according to existing guidelines, coding standards, and industry best practices.
- Assist stakeholders in defining scope and specifications for new software solutions by studying business requirements, work processes, and data usage.
- Document, investigate, fix, and report on software defects.
- Monitor, analyze, refactor, and enhance existing apps and source code.
- Research and recommend improvements to our software, processes, and development tools, including cost and time estimates.
- Complete other duties as requested
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
- 2 years of applicable web development experience (JavaScript and/or ColdFusion strongly preferred).
- Demonstration of intimate knowledge of web technologies and concepts
- Demonstrate complex problem solving skills
- Be engaged in design and implementation of projects
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Relevant college degree and/or certified training (e.g. coding boot camp) preferred.
Work Environment:
Ability to sit at a desk, utilize a computer, telephone, and other basic office equipment is required. This role is designed to be a remote position (work-from-home).
